You will go to three of Tanzania’s “northern circuit”‘s most well-known parks during this 4-day lodge safari: Lake Manyara National Park, Ngorongoro Crater, and Serengeti National Park. On arrival at Kilimanjaro international airport JRO/Arusha airport meet our representative & transfer to hotel in arusha.
After breakfast depart for Tarangire National Park for game drive. First you will stop in Arusha Town for any last minute purchases before heading to Tarangire. The driving is along Masai steppe, shopping centres& many village.
Tarangire is famous for its huge Baobab trees & large elephant population, you may expect to spot heads of, buffalo, giraffe, zebra, wildebeest, hippos, baboons, many antelopes & the giant African elephant. For bird watchers Tarangire is the place over 400 bird species have been recorded here which includes the rare species of Ash Staling, Great Kudu & fringed Eared Oryx are also among rare animal species found in the Park.
Predators like lion, hyenas, cheetahs, jackals & the ever- mysterious leopard are also inhabit this park. Tarangire Park forms the central annual migratory cycle within Tarangire Lake Manyara ecosystem which include up to 3000 elephants, 25,000 wildebeest and about 30,000 zebra. Late afternoon drive to the Lodge for dinner & overnight
After breakfast we will departing for Serengeti National park, drive along the Great Rift Valley and across bneautiful high lying farm lands of Karatu and along the Crater rim of Ngorongoro.
You will stop at the view point of the Crater for some nice picture of the crater floor from the rim.
Afterward, drive down into the heart of the “wild Africa” Serengeti National park with its endless rolling plains. Break for picnic lunch at Naabi Hills Gate or at the Copjes (Rocky outcropping) when heading to the Central Serengeti area called Soronera. This is one of the richest wildlife habitat in the park endowed with Soronera River the valuable water supply in this area hence attracts a vast number of wildlife.
After Breakfast heading to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. On the way you will visit one of the Masai village for some cultural encounter, some Masai worrier will invite you & take you in and around their houses you will meet some kids & other family members, you may ask as much questions as you can. Later they will sing & dance their favorite songs which involves high jumping. If you wish you can join the dancing.
you will descend over 600 meters high walls into the crater floor for a wonderful game drive. Ngorongoro Crater is referred by many as the 8th nature wonder of the world, the crater was formed some 3 million years ago due to some internal forces under the earth crust. It is a Caldera but mistakenly is called a Crater, supported by yearly round water supply
Ngorongoro Conservation Area supports a big number of animal species, which include herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, topi, eland, hippos, warthog & giant African elephant.
Another big draw card to this unique Crater is the dense population of predators, which include lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs & the ever- mysterious leopard, which sometimes need sharp eye to spot. You will drive to Lake Magadi, a large but shallow alkaline Lake in the southwestern corner, occasionally visited by flamingos, hippos & many aquatic birds. After lunch in the crater we will start to go out of crater to arusha
